Rumors around Resident Evil 4 Remake are restarted. Concept art for the game was likely shared by DC actor Douglas, who plays antagonist Albert Wesker in the saga.
One more leak for this project not yet formalized by Capcom, but whose existence is almost an open secret.
Leaked Resident Evil 4 Remake concept art
For the past few days, an alleged concept art of Resident Evil 4 Remake has been circulating on social media. This one shows the character of Albert Wesker as he would appear in the "Separate Ways" bonus storyline of this revamp. The image was reportedly sent by DC Douglas to a handful of his fans privately via Twitter, before one of them leaked it.
Of course, the actor took the floor to deny the rumours: “I have not announced anything, posted anything, and I have declared on several occasions that I am not under any contract with Capcom (…) I am impatiently awaiting Resident Evil 4 news just like you! “, he said on Instagram. For its part, Capcom has simply indicated that it does not comment on rumors and speculation.
Rumors around Resident Evil 4 Remake appeared at the beginning of 2020. According to sources from the VGC site, which has already released some reliable confidential information in the past, its development would have started in 2018 within the M studio. -Two before being repatriated internally after a disagreement. Partially rebooted, the game would aim for a release in 2023. All of this is obviously to be taken with a grain of salt while waiting for an announcement from Capcom.
