Updates for our consoles sometimes hide features that manufacturers don't even take the time to present. This is what happened with the recent patch released this week on PS5.
The new system update is available to download now on our PS5s. This 913 MB patch brings new elements such as the activation of storage expansion on M.2 SSD disk, the support for 3D audio for the integrated speakers or even new customization options on the games. But this update also contains a small change quite significant.

A logo that we will not miss
Players are aware that when saving a screenshot by pressing the “create” button on the DualSense, an icon appears, accompanied by a sound effect. A detail that could quickly become painful when recording two captures in quick succession. At that time, the famous logo appeared obligatorily on the second image. But that is now ancient history...
Now, by going to the “Settings” tab, then to “Captures and broadcasts” and “Shortcut for the creation key”, it is possible to uncheck the box “Show confirmation of saving screenshots”. Once done, the icon will no longer appear during a recording. Only the sound will indicate the success of the operation.
