Last March, Jade Raymond opened a brand new studio based in Montreal. This structure named Haven Studios has not yet shown anything specific, but is working hand in hand with Sony on the development of an exclusive (console) PS5.

After the Stadia debacle, Jade Raymond therefore founded her own studio thanks to significant funding from Sony. The company in question even boasts "of having the latitude of an independent publisher and the means of a large studio". The Haven Studios teams offered three distinct games to the Japanese manufacturer and the latter validated "two, even three", according to Raymond's words on the Le Devoir site.

A promising exclusive?

At first, the Haven Studios developers are focused on a very specific project… and we now know the outlines. The title in question, which will be released on PS5 and PC, will offer “a persistent and evolving online environment” like a Rainbow Six Siege. With this project, the teams also want to promote values such as inclusion and caring.

But the ambition of the young studio does not stop there since it will soon sign a collaboration with Mark Cerny, the system architect of the PS5. The goal is to make the most of the console's capabilities. Thus, Haven Studios could soon become a top studio within the PlayStation ecosystem.
