PlayStation Plus: Sony specifies the launch schedule for its new service

We already knew that the new PlayStation Plus formula would arrive next June, but Sony had not yet specified the deployment dates for each territory. It is now done, and European players are entitled to a bad surprise.

In a handful of weeks, PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus (which will therefore keep its name) will definitely merge to create a single service. This will be available in three separate subscriptions with the Essential levels at 8,99 euros per month, Extra at 13,99 euros per month, and finally Premium at 16,99 euros per month. The higher the price, the greater the benefits.

Europe will arrive late

This weekend, the Japanese manufacturer took the floor via its PlayStation Blog to announce the dates for the deployment of PlayStation Plus. Yes, it is a question of several dates, since a simultaneous launch across the world is not on the agenda. Asia (excluding Japan) will be served from May 23, 2022. Then will come Japan on June 1, America on June 13, and Europe will close the march on June 22, 2022.

In addition, 30 countries (including Spain) will have access to the game in streaming with this new PlayStation Plus. European players will therefore have to be patient before they can (re)discover the service.
