It's time to take stock of the most downloaded games of 2021 on the PlayStation Store side. The Japanese brand has made a classification for each support, and as much to say that there are no big surprises.
It is from the PlayStation Blog that the Japanese manufacturer has lifted the veil on the big winners of the past year. Note that there are two rankings for each category. The first is devoted to the North American market and the second to the European Union. In our case, it is the latter that will interest us.
A lot of sport and a lot of war
In Europe on PS5, FIFA 22 wins the prize for the most downloaded game in 2021. It is followed by Call of Duty: Vanguard, FIFA 21, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Battlefield 2042. from the PS4, we find in this order FIFA 22 (decidedly), Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft, FIFA 21 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Electronic Arts and Activision remain the undisputed leaders.
On the PSVR side, Beat Saber is on the top step of the podium, followed by Job Simulator and SUPERHOT VR. Finally, in the PS5 and PS4 free-to-play category, Fortnite wins the jackpot. Epic Games' battle royale is joined by Rocket League in second place and Call of Duty: Warzone in third. Full rankings are available at this address.
