Having become extremely popular in the West, the saga Person will soon celebrate its 25e anniversary. And for this big holiday, Atlus has planned several announcements that should delight fans.
Initially very marginal in Europe and even in the United States, the Persona phenomenon managed to conquer the Western market thanks to its fifth opus released in 2017 (then via its Royal version three years later). However, the franchise will already celebrate its 25th anniversary from next September. On this occasion, Atlus has planned several surprises that could help consolidate the burgeoning popularity of the series on the Old Continent.
Persona will soon pass the sixth
Indeed, on a site dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Persona, Atlus teases no less than seven announcements which will be made between September 2021 and the fall of 2022. The Japanese firm also promises various events around its license. But, at the present time, we unfortunately do not know more.
Atlus potentially has many strings to its bow to win the hearts of gamers. We can thus imagine the formalization of remasterings / remakes of the first three opuses finally little known. As for Persona 4 and 5, they could well arrive on other media such as Xbox and Nintendo machines. Finally, the presentation of Persona 6 next year cannot be ruled out.
