Before its release on Thursday, Outriders chose to warn players who might choose to cheat once the servers are open. Indeed, a special system has been put in place to deter future offenders.
Users who resort to illegal actions in-game will thus be ostracized from the rest of the community.

Outriders warn players
Expected on April 1 on consoles and PC, Outriders is a third-person shooter developed by People Can Fly (Bulletstorm) and published by Square Enix. In this new license, players will find themselves on a dangerous planet populated by unfriendly wildlife. A total of four different classes will be available at launch. Each has its own powers in addition to a very complete arsenal.
The creators of the title recently published an article on Steam to discuss the changes made since the demo. They also returned to pre-download terms and post-launch content. Additionally, the developers have spoken out about cheaters which accounted for a mere 0,01% of players who tried the demo in recent weeks.

Cheaters isolated rather than banned
In Outriders, if a person decides to cheat, they will automatically be separated from the rest of the players. Thus, cheaters will only be able to play with other cheaters, which will have the effect of making it more difficult to find a game. In addition, the interface of the cheater concerned will display a small, clearly visible mention to point him out. A method used to deter streamers for example.
However, cheating in Outriders is almost irrelevant. Indeed, the game will only offer cooperation. No competitive mode will be accessible when the title is released. Either way, cheaters won't be banned, just pushed aside.
Remember that Outriders will arrive in the Xbox Game Pass as soon as it is released on April 1, 2021.
