There has been movement within the organization chart of the Naughty Dog studio. A new vice-president has recently been appointed, and he will be responsible in particular for setting up a more secure working environment for employees.

After being in charge of communication for 13 long years, Arne Meyer received a great promotion at Naughty Dog. On Twitter, the main interested party announced that he now holds the position of vice-president within the studio. A nice step up in rank which could lead to better working conditions for all the workforce. It must be said that the Californian company has often been singled out because of the intensive crunch that affected the teams on each project.

One step forward ?

On Twitter, Arne Meyer gave some indications concerning his new missions as vice-president. He will be at work on many topics such as "people and culture, organizational practices and the well-being of our developers". Different projects are already being developed with the aim of improving these different aspects.

Let's hope for substantial progress for those who work on future Naughty Dog games. The studio should soon lift the veil on a multiplayer title in the universe of The Last of Us. A remake of the adventures of Joel and Ellie would also be in preparation.
