Monster Hunter Rise: a gameplay sequence recorded on the PC version

A few days after the announcement of a PC version of Monster hunter rise scheduled for January 12, 2022, IGN Japan posted on YouTube a video showing it in action.

The opportunity to see how the hunt is doing on PC and the improvements made by the latter, but unfortunately not in 4K. In another register, the Steam page of the upcoming game has detailed the configurations required in order to (re)discover Kamura more beautiful and fluid than ever.

Hunting party not too greedy

The gameplay sequence recorded by IGN Japan notably allows us to witness fights against two of Monster Hunter Rise's emblematic monsters. In the middle of the video, we are also entitled to an overview of the menu dedicated to graphics settings… which is necessarily clearer if you know how to read Japanese signs. In particular, we can see that HDR support, in addition to other features already announced, will be supported.

Finally, we were treated to a sequence of riding on the back of our faithful Palamute, as well as harvesting insects giving us various temporary bonuses useful for hunting. The set exudes twirls and fluidity, good news for those eager to try the game on PC.

System requirements less demanding than combat

Budding hunters will be delighted to learn that the required configurations are quite reasonable, although they only promise 1 p/080 fps at best in average graphic quality.

Minimum system requirements:

  • OS : Windows 10 (64-bits) ;
  • Processor : Intel® Core i3-4130 ou Core i5-3470 ou AMD FX-6100 ;
  • RAM : 8 GB of RAM;
  • Graphic card : NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 (DDR4) ou AMD Radeon RX 550 ;
  • DirectX: Version 12 ;
  • Network: Internet connection required;
  • Disk space required: 23 GB;
  • Additional Notes: 1p/080fps with low quality graphics.

Recommended configuration:

  • Operating system : Windows 10 (64-bit) ;
  • Processor : Intel Core i5-4460 ou AMD FXâ„¢-8300 ;
  • RAM: 8 GB of RAM;
  • Graphic card : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3 Go VRAM) ou AMD Radeon RX 570 (4 Go VRAM) ;
  • DirectX: Version 12 ;
  • Network: Internet connection required;
  • Disk space required: 23 GB;
  • Additional Notes: 1p/080fps with medium quality graphics.

If we are to believe the additional notes, it will therefore be necessary to arm yourself with a more solid configuration in order to enjoy the game at 60 fps, which is more in the higher definitions. However, this could be subject to optimization before the release of the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise, scheduled for January 12, 2022. It will be possible to try it on October 13 via a demo on Steam.
