The video is mainly interested in a rather wintry region, which is reminiscent of Iceborne, with some well-known monsters from the license and adapted to this region. We also learn more about the game's main hub and its inhabitants.

On the gameplay side, we had already seen that Rise offers a very aerial approach with a kind of grappling hook. We discover in this video that it will also be possible with this tool to ride the monsters so that they momentarily fight for us. A dream come true !

Finally, CAPCOM is sharing the content available in the downloadable demo via the eShop today. This will offer four short quests that will act as a tutorial for the new mechanics of the game. One of these quests will pit hunters against a Mizutsune, an elegant but dangerous aquatic monster for neophytes. These quests will be playable solo, but also in online cooperation. It will also be possible to explore part of the world on the back of our faithful blue wolf-dog.

As a reminder, Monster Hunter Rise is currently expected exclusively on Nintendo Switch from March 26, 2021.
