After the resounding success of Metroid dread, the MercurySteam studio is already at work on a radically different project. And we got the first information about this famous game.
Despite its totally assumed retro side via a 2D look, Metroid Dread proudly sits in the category of the best games of this year 2021. The title launched on Nintendo Switch last October has quite simply made the best start in the history of the license to across many countries. But the MercurySteam teams are not going to rest, since their next production is already under construction.

This time, the Spanish studio has not signed a partnership with Nintendo, but with the publisher 505 Games (Control, Death Stranding, No Man's Sky…). Codenamed Project Iron, the game in question would opt for a third-person point of view. It would be about an RPG taking place in a dark fantasy universe.
