Absent from Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the DLC of the third opus titled Pinnacle Station was restored seven months later, courtesy of modder Mgamerz.

Unfortunately, it will only be possible to (re)visit this station on the PC version of the game, the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions obviously not being able to accommodate mods yet.

The Pinnacle of Mass Effect modding

Many fans had lamented the absence of the Pinnacle Station DLC on the remastered trilogy of one of the best Action-RPG franchises that Bioware has created to date. This absence was simply due to the fact that its source code had been lost. Recreating it from scratch would thus have, according to the developers, taken months.

This obviously did not deter Mgamerz, which thus corrected the situation on its own on the PC version thanks to a mod downloadable via Nexus Mods. The page dedicated to the mod, quoted in source below, indicates that it is necessary to take advantage of it beforehand to bring a Mod Manager entitled ME3Tweaks. Not content with offering a version worthy of the remaster for this DLC, Mgamerz has also worked to fix many bugs.

As a reminder, this DLC takes Commander Shepard to a top secret Alliance space station. Pinnacle Station was thus an opportunity to offer many action-packed scenarios. It is possible to start this modded version at any time of the game.

A way like any other to dive back into this incredible saga, while the next opus was surreptitiously teased on the occasion of N7 Day this weekend. As Bioware says so well, Mass Effect goes on.
