Largely absent since the Wii era, the Mario Strikers series will make its big comeback on June 10 on Nintendo's hybrid console. But it is true that, since its announcement, a mystery still remained around the title: who could well be in charge of the development of the project? This question has now just found an answer, and it should greatly delight (and reassure) fans of the saga!

Indeed, it is indeed Next Level Games which is at work on Mario Strikers: Battle League Football. This studio is at the origin of the first two opus released respectively on Game Cube in 2005 and on Wii in 2007. It is via the Australian evaluation organization that we learned the news. For the record, the Canadian studio is also known for bringing the excellent Luigi's Mansion 3 to life on Nintendo Switch. What definitely reassure us about the final quality of this Mario Strikers: Battle League Football.

Finally, as a reminder, Next Level Games has officially been a studio belonging to Nintendo since its acquisition in January 2021. After many years of collaboration, the two players have decided to unite in order to move forward together. A decision undoubtedly accelerated by the success of the latest adventures of our favorite coward.
