Magic: The Gathering Arena gains new ground

Originally released on September 27, 2018 on PC and Mac, Magic: The Gathering Arena has taken its time rolling out to smartphones and tablets. It thus made a first entry into early access at the end of January this year on Android devices, whose official release date is set today.

As if to kill two birds with one stone, the virtual card game also takes the opportunity to be deployed on iOS devices. It thus relies on its approximately three million users to further strengthen its player base.

PC or Mac players can seamlessly link their account and cards to the mobile version, depending on their operating system preference, and vice versa. In Europe, the mobile version of Magic: The Gathering Arena can therefore be downloaded today from the Play Store or the App Store.

The world of Magic: The Gathering has been in turmoil lately. The day before yesterday, Magic: Legends, an attempt to bring this iconic card game to life in a free-to-play hack & slash, launched its open beta on PC.
