Announced during the last Summer Game Fest for this fall in the West, Lost Ark will finally be desired a little more by us, although a closed beta will soon be able to act as a consolation prize.

The Korean studio Smilegate has indeed announced on Twitter that its MMO hack'n slash unfortunately sees its release postponed to early 2022, with a closed beta phase scheduled for November.

Decidedly, Lost Ark does not manage to find the way to the West. Awaited by many Diablo-Like fans curious to see what it gives in a massively multiplayer title, the Smilegate game, published by Amazon Games, is sorely desired. Last June, only a handful of the chosen few were able to try the game through a short-lived technical alpha phase.

According to the Korean studio, the latter has been rich in lessons, but their title needs additional time to be refined and up to its audience. This is how the decision was made to postpone its release in the West from this fall to early 2022. The most impatient, however, can go to Arkesia from November 4 to 9 as part of a closed beta. To receive the short and precious sesame, it is possible to register via the dedicated page on the official game site, or to purchase a Founder's Pack, sold via Amazon or Steam.

Smilegate also takes the opportunity to promise to increase the frequency of official communications regarding Lost Ark, with reports every month. Good news, knowing that the studio has been very discreet so far. In any case, we hope that they will be able to keep all the aforementioned commitments.
