Lost Ark: server capacity will no longer be increased in Europe

Lost Ark galvanizes the crowds a little more each week and never stops seeing its servers crumble under connection attempts. Unfortunately, Smilegate does not intend to make efforts to minimize wait times in the immediate future.

At the time of writing, the South Korean studio's online action-RPG has more than 730 simultaneous players according to SteamDB. Not long ago, Lost Ark even reached 000 million users connected at the same time. A resounding success that inevitably leads to inconvenience for the community. Indeed, it is not uncommon to have to wait long minutes in a queue before being able to play.

Patience will be the only solution

In a recent statement, Smilegate teams said they were unable to increase server capacity for the European continent. In this blog post, the studio claims to be aware that "players are still encountering queues in Europe."

“The European region is at capacity and unfortunately there is no way to increase the number of players per world in Central Europe. Adding servers is no longer possible due to the complexity of all the systems that need to work together. »

An additional region, Western Europe, has been created, but this is only for new players since it is impossible to transfer progress (items acquired, exchanged and claimed) from one region to another.
