Lost Ark: a console version planned?

Since its western launch last month, Lost Ark has attracted millions of players to its servers. A resounding success that could lead to a hypothetical version for our consoles.

Barely three days after its arrival in Europe and North America, Lost Ark already counted 4,7 million additional players to reach today a total of around 20 million users worldwide. It must be said that the MMO signed Smilegate has managed to convince thanks to its effective hack'n slash gameplay, its gripping story but also via its extremely copious content. And PC gamers may soon not be the only ones to benefit from it…

Soon on PlayStation and Xbox?

During an interview with VG247, Soomin Park, who is responsible for licensing at Amazon Games, said: "If fans really want to see Lost Ark come to consoles, then I think it's something that both parties (Smilegate and Amazon) may consider”. No concrete announcement for the moment but the door is absolutely not closed as to a potential porting for PlayStation and Xbox machines.

This week, Smilegate rolled out a new update to combat in-game bots. As a result, users who do not have a verified Steam account will be deprived of certain economy and community features in Lost Ark.
