As we learned yesterday that Life is Strange: Remastered Collection will not finally see the light of day before 2022, the Deck Nine studio announces that the Switch version of True Colors is also retarded.
Still scheduled for September 10 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, Life is Strange: True Colors should still be released this year on the Nintendo console.

Delayed release for Life is Strange: True Colors on Switch
It was via Twitter, and following its thread announcing the delay of Life is Strange: Remastered Collection that the studio broke the news. We don't know the reasons behind this shift, but we imagine that optimizing the game for the Nintendo Switch must be part of it.
As a reminder, Life is Strange: True Colors will distinguish itself from previous opuses by abandoning the episodic formula which had so far made its particularity. We will play Alex, a young woman back in her hometown of Haven Springs, Colorado. Unfortunately, his return is motivated by the death of his brother, allegedly killed in an accident. But Alex's supernatural powers will help him shed light on a case that's more complex than it seems.
Note, therefore, that this new opus is developed not by the original creators of the series (Dontnod) but by the studio to whom Life is Strange: Before The Storm, the spin-off of the first game released in 2017.
