Decidedly, when it does not want… As for Life is Strange: True Colors, the players Nintendo Switch will have to take their troubles patiently before (re)discovering the adventures of Max, Chloe and Rachel.

Square Enix has just announced the postponement of the Switch version of the compilation, no doubt to refine the port before its release and not to repeat the mistakes made with True Colors.

The postponed Switch version

More bad news for Nintendo Switch players. While fans of the narrative game saga smelled a postponement for Life is Strange Remastered Collection because of the lack of communication around the game, Square Enix has just confirmed its release for February 1, except for one platform. The compilation that brings together the first game and its spin-off Before the Storm will be released on the scheduled date on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Stadia, but the Nintendo Switch version will have to wait.

“We regret to announce that the Nintendo Switch versions of the games have been shelved for a bit and will need a bit more time before they are ready. So we will release them later this year,” the Japanese publisher explained in a post on its social media. For other players, Square Enix gives an appointment this Tuesday, January 25 to discover (finally) new images of the two games in the compilation, which had so far only shown a simple trailer.
