A few weeks after the release of Life is Strange: True Colors, the Square Enix franchise will titillate our nostalgic fiber with a compilation of two distinct opuses. And like many other games, the launch will take place early next year.

When announcing the third installment of the license, Square Enix also confirmed the existence of Life is Strange Remastered Collection. The latter will combine the first game as well as the prequel Before the Storm in a single box. Players will therefore be able to return to Arcadia Bay in the shoes of Max and then Chloe. For the occasion, the graphics but also the animations will be reworked.

Back to a very strange life

Originally slated for release this fall, Life is Strange Remastered Collection was eventually postponed. Production concerns caused by the Covid-19 pandemic were then pointed out by the developers. This week, Square Enix announced a new launch date. This time, the collection will land on February 1, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Stadia.

In the meantime, players can experience Alex's adventures in Life is Strange: True Colors. This excellent episode, rewarded with a beautiful 8/10 in our columns, shines particularly thanks to its endearing characters, its emotional side or its quality soundtrack.
