Microsoft has obviously decided to attack 2022 with panache. In any case, this is what the first additions announced for its Game Pass offer suggest.

Perhaps the rest of January will be more reasonable, but hard to sulk at the first titles coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass. Indeed, the acclaimed Outer Wilds, the original Gorogoa, the solid Spelunky 2 or even the massive Mass Effect: Legendary Edition are in the game.

On the bonus side for Ultimate subscribers, on January 5, a weapon charm for Apex Legends and bonuses for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be offered. Also note that, on January 10, PUBG: Battlegrounds will leave Game Pass to become free-to-play on January 12. Finally, until January 17, various free bonuses are to be collected in the Minecraft marketplace.

For the record, many games coming to Game Pass in 2022 have already been announced.
