This January 20, Amplitude continues to enrich and improve its strategy game humankind. On the menu: a first paid DLC centered on African cultures and a free update to rework the AI โโin particular.
A roadmap until this summer also allows you to know what to expect for the future.
Humankind embraces Africa
If you have already toured the yet rich Humankind, good news: a first DLC has arrived. As its name suggests, Cultures of Africa adds, for โฌ8,99, six new cultures from the continent, five new wonders, 15 narrative events and seven independent peoples. New music by Arnaud Roy is also included.
To accompany this optional paid content, a free update dubbed Allen Newell is also there. In addition to various bug fixes, the developers have especially improved the behavior of the AI โโin certain warlike situations (ground bombardments, sieges, coastal battles, etc.).
Finally, Amplitude revealed what it has in store for the game until next summer. The next updates will obviously bring additional content, balancing and translations, but also new features such as official mods or the possibility of joining multiplayer on the fly. Options for displaying notifications will also be greatly appreciated.
