After Death Stranding, what will Hideo Kojima's next crazy project be? This is the question that many players ask themselves and the Japanese creator could have left some clues on social networks…
For several days, more or less well-founded rumors have been circulating about a possible takeover of Kojima Productions by PlayStation. If this acquisition would not be surprising, nothing has yet been officially announced. Moreover, two and a half years after the release of Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima has still not deigned to mention his next production.
So much speculation...
However, if he rarely gives interviews to the press, the Japanese director is rather talkative on Twitter. The photo below shows us a sacred installation within the new offices of Kojima Productions. Internet users have even noticed the presence of a PS5 development kit (circled below). Since it's plugged in, the kit appears to be in use at the studio right now.
So, we can easily assume that Kojima Productions is working on a game that will be released on PlayStation 5. Please note that this does not mean that this is an exclusive or even a hint pointing to a future takeover by Sony. Remember that Hideo Kojima is still working with Xbox on a mysterious project that would use the power of Microsoft's cloud.
