Xbox brand standard bearer, Halo will not escape the trend of TV series adapted from video games. Announced at E3 2013, the project is finally materializing with the first images.

On the occasion of the stream celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Xbox, Microsoft revealed a first look at its live-action series of Halo.

A teaser for the Halo TV series

Adaptations of video games into TV series are on the rise. After the huge success of The Witcher, publishers intend to ride the wave and bring their most famous franchises to the small screen. Resident Evil, The Last of Us, Assassin's Creed, Life is Strange, the list is long, but these projects sometimes take years to see the light of day. This is the case of the Halo series, announced in 2013 by Steven Spielberg, which has finally just shown itself through a very short teaser.

It features Pablo Schreiber (Orange Is the New Black) as Spartan John-117, aka Master Chief, donning his signature armor. That's all for now, Microsoft contenting itself with an appetizer to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Xbox. The Halo TV series is still expected for sometime in 2022 exclusively on Paramount Plus.
