Master Chief lacks playgrounds

In any case, this is what many fans speculate following this laconic announcement from 343 Industries. The other probable track, also mentioned by the studio before, would be the creation of a custom game browser on PC. An example similar to such a platform had notably been introduced for Battlefield 3.

Such an approach would echo the will of Phil Spencer, head of the gaming branch of Microsoft. The latter had in fact declared in the past that he wanted to make Xbox Games Studios stamped PC games available on several platforms as soon as they were launched.

This approach would also fit with the good agreement between Microsoft and Epic Games. The creator of Fortnite has indeed received the support of the American giant in his long-term fight against Apple and its policy relating to its Store. Master Chief himself got a skin on Epic Games' Battle Royale.

Regarding the potential arrival of his adventures on the Epic Games Store, all that remains is to wait for the next update of Halo: The Master Chief Collection scheduled for the coming weeks.
