Halo Infinite Although it has captured the attention in recent weeks on the side of the legendary saga published by Xbox, the developers have at the same time continued their work on the famous Master Chief Collection. And a major novelty has just arrived.

While Halo Infinite Season 2 will only begin on May 3, an additional patch has just been deployed for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. In addition to making some minor adjustments, this update also launches a feature that was highly requested, but whose arrival remained uncertain.

The fight has no borders

Thus, cross-play co-op is now possible in Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players can therefore team up to complete the campaigns of these two episodes. 343 Industries said the feature had been tested internally for some time, but the development teams now needed "additional feedback from real gamers." It is therefore a life-size test, and bugs could invite themselves to the party.

Besides, today's patch also brings additional skulls and medals to collect. Optimizations and other bug fixes are also included. In short, it's nice to see that 343 Industries still hasn't completely abandoned Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
