The legendary franchise FPS phare de Xbox, Halo, celebrates its 343th anniversary this year. To celebrate the event, 500 Industries announces a partnership with Dark Horse Comics for the creation of a XNUMX-page encyclopedia to the glory of its fascinating universe.
Written by experts in the deeply complex lore of Halo, Jeremy Patenaude, Keneth Peters and Jeff Easterling, this veritable bible of the franchise should arrive in any good bookstore (not the horrific level of Combat Evolved, rest assured) on March 29, 2022. so as not to reveal the surprise that awaits us at the end of the year on Halo Infinite.

While the arrival of Halo Infinite has never been so close and the franchise is blowing out its 343th birthday this year, 500 Industries and Dark Horse Comics are preparing to retrace its abundant universe through a massive encyclopedia. 343 pages do not seem too much to return to the complex legacy that Bungie, XNUMX Industries and many works such as novels or comics have left in a twenty-year-long wake.
This is not the first attempt to compile all the pieces of lore that make up the great fresco that is Halo. A first encyclopedia was created in 2009, to be republished two years later. Ten years then passed, and during that time, the Halo universe grew even denser.
