The multiplayer preview version ofHalo Infinite started this week and some lovers of this iconic license can now dive into the competitive mode of the 343 Industries title. However, this “demo” hides (quite badly) spoilers related to the single-player campaign.

Since the gameplay video released in July 2020, Halo Infinite's single player mode has been discreet to say the least. So that it is the multiplayer that is in the spotlight just a few months before the game's release. Indeed, the technical preview is taking place right now for a few lucky ones. Alas, a funny surprise slipped into the files of this beta…

Beware of spoilers!

Joseph Staten, who primarily writes the story for the single-player campaign, said on Twitter that this multiplayer beta contains files revealing story elements of Master Chief's next adventure. 343 Industries likely included these files inadvertently. Staten therefore calls for vigilance because unscrupulous players have published certain revelations related to the history of Halo Infinite on social networks.

In addition, Brian Jarrard, who is in charge of the community at 343 Industries, specifies that sanctions will be taken against users who share these files on YouTube. A strike (i.e. a warning) may be sent to the channel concerned. In short, we will have to be careful to keep the surprise intact until the release of Halo Infinite.
