Another announcement that no one saw coming from Rockstar Gamesā¦ And it won't please everyone! Grand Theft Auto Online will receive in a few days an optional paid formula which will offer advantages to subscribers.
Barely ten days after its big comeback on new generation consoles, GTA V is once again being talked about with information that will surely divide the community. Indeed, from next week, GTA Online will welcome a paid subscription for players wishing to have access to various bonuses. This package is called GTA+.
A real robbery?
Available from March 29, 2022 for $5,99/month (European pricing not yet detailed) and exclusively on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game, GTA+ will offer "a range of valuable benefits for new players and those who have been around for a long timeā. For example, each member will receive $ 500 GTA per month or the possibility of obtaining exclusive properties in Los Santos and its surroundings. Reductions, improvements for vehicles and other bonuses will also be included.
The advantages in question will be renewed each month with, in particular, new cosmetic elements. It remains to be seen if GTA Online players will be ready to subscribe to such a subscription.
