Gran Turismo 7: a very (very) imposing game for the SSD of your PS5

Expected for March 4, Gran Turismo 7 today unveils weighty information.

We know the minimum storage that the Polyphony Digital game will require to install on our PlayStation consoles.

More than 100 GB for Gran Turismo 7

With its gargantuan content and 4K graphics, there was no doubt that Gran Turismo 7 was going to require a lot of storage space on our PS4 and PS5. The official sheet of the game, on the PS Store, finally allows us to know what place we will have to free up on our SSDs and hard drives.

Indeed, the game signed Polyphony Digital will require a minimum of 110 GB of free space to come and settle comfortably in our consoles. So you have a few weeks left to do some cleaning on your machines, just to welcome Sony's new "real driving simulator" in the best possible conditions.

Obviously, if you have opted for a digital version of Gran Turismo 7, to be downloaded via the PS Store, you will therefore have to be patient to download the game if you do not have a fiber connection. As for Gran Turismo Sport, remember that if the game only weighed 35 GB when it was launched, the various successive updates have meant that the title now displays more than 100 GB on the scale.
