Coldly received by critics upon its arrival on PS5 and PC last November, Godfall could very soon turn to other media... And it should probably be the consoles of the previous generation.
Developed by Counterplay Games, Godfall is a kind of “looter-slasher”, currently only available on PS5 and PC (via the Epic Games Store). It's also the very first game to be announced for Sony's next-gen console. Unfortunately, this title published by Gearbox will not have marked the spirits, the fault of a concept that is too classic and repetitive. On Metacritic, the software has an average of only 61% (and a sad 5/10 in our columns), which is quite low for a project of this ilk.

The older generation is resisting
However, Godfall is preparing to attack other platforms on the market, starting with … the PS4. Indeed, this version has been listed by the European classification organization PEGI. It must be said that with its installed base of 115 million consoles, Sony's support is a significant financial windfall for the studios.
You should also know that the PS5 console exclusivity will end on May 12. Thus, Godfall will be free to land on Xbox One but also on Xbox Series X|S. What, perhaps, to relaunch the game which finally went a little unnoticed at its launch.
