On the sidelines of its upcoming release on September 28 on PS5 et Xbox Series X| S, Ghost runner receives an unprecedented update covered in neon lights. Beyond more colorful attractions, the game has two new game modes that the creators of One More Level took the time to reveal in a video extract.

If this update is available for free download for all game owners, the various fluorescent cosmetics will be paid for in a dedicated pack, while three others are appearing at the same time.

With its level of requirement, Ghostrunner immediately proved its punitive aspect. Perhaps too much for some, it is in particular to overcome the frustration aroused by its challenge that the One More Level teams have worked on a new “Assist” mode.

This allows, among other things, to vary a whole series of parameters in order to make the game less tense. The options offer, for example, to modify the speed of the game, to reduce the cooldown of skills or to grant an additional life.

However, do not believe that Ghostrunner only intends to make its proposal simpler and more accessible, no. The other mode introduced by the update is a "Wave" mode which puts you in an arena where you must eliminate 20 waves of enemies without dying. As you progress, you get a bonus to choose from three possibilities.

Rolling out since yesterday, the Neon Pack offers four sets for the katana and gloves: Neon Night, Glint, Afterglow, and Luminescence. And, as announced above, the Jack, Summer and Art bundles are also appearing, as well as the full range of cosmetics and content.
