Launched in October 2020, the multiplayer mode of Ghost of Tsushima will soon emancipate. Indeed, the latter will become a game in its own right and can therefore be purchased separately from the solo experience.
It is a practice that is in fashion at the moment! Thus, after a similar announcement for GTA Online and Red Dead Online (to name a few), Sucker Punch decides to propel Ghost of Tsushima: Legends as a paid standalone. However, the owners of the basic game will keep access to this playable part without having to take out the wallet.

No major changes on the horizon
Remember that Ghost of Tsushima: Legends allows several players to team up to face threats from Japanese mythology. Content for the standalone edition will be similar to that included with the base game. The Sucker Punch studio plans to incorporate new features like the Rivals mode. This one will see two teams made up of two players each go head-to-head as they battle through waves of enemies. The greater the number of opponents killed, the more damage it will be possible to inflict on the other squad.
A gear mastery system and Survival mode rebalancing will also arrive on September 3, the launch date of the standalone Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. The game will cost 19,99 euros on PS4 and PS5.
