With Spider-Man: No Way Home, Matrix Resurrections was undoubtedly the most anticipated feature film of this year 2021. And Epic Games was obviously not going to miss out on a very lucrative partnership. Fortnite players can now grab several items inspired by Neo's new adventures.
In addition, since December 16, the Deathrun map has been available via Fortnite's creative mode. It contains a series of trials and traps that will try to block the player's path. The goal of the game is simple: get to your destination as quickly as possible. Each stage (out of the five accessible) opts for a unique setting that appeared in the Matrix Resurrections trailer. Bugs in the matrix?
On Twitter, the game's official account announced the deployment of a Neo Bullet Time emote and a second named Trinity Kick. These items can be obtained through the Fortnite store. Green Matrix glyphs are also making an appearance, and users have the ability to apply this look to their weapons. Each item is offered for 300 V-Bucks and the pack comprising the three items is charged at 800 V-Bucks.
As of now, no Matrix skins are yet available in Fortnite. However, we wouldn't be surprised to see Neo becoming playable in the game soon.
