"The End" is coming in Fortnite. Behind this enticing name hides the event that will mark the conclusion of Chapter 2 of the battle royale.
Players will be able to take on Queen Cube in a final battle starting in early December.
A unique event for the end of Chapter 2
Fortnite Chapter 2 will come to an end December 4 at 22 p.m., the date on which players will be able to experience “The End”. The climactic event sees them face Queen Cube in a final battle to preserve the island's legacy. To do so, players will be able to team up with 16 of their friends or complete strangers, but they will have to gather their team 30 minutes before the start of the event.
In its press release, Epic Games nevertheless notes that players and content creators who wish to relive their last moments of Chapter 2 will have to record and archive their experience themselves because no replay will be available. It will also be impossible to change game settings during the event once it has started.
Good news however, all players who log in before the end of the season will receive a reward of 225 EXP points, while those who participate in the event will obtain a loading screen and a specific coating.
