Released this week Fortnite Imposters is already at the heart of the turmoil. Indeed, there are many similarities between this new game mode and the concept of a certain Among Us. And these similarities have not gone unnoticed.

Like the game developed by the Innersloth studio, Fortnite Imposters offers 10 players to meet on the same map. Eight are intended to perform various tasks to ensure the security of the Node and two others will have to eliminate the squad. To find the traitors, participants can discuss and choose who to eliminate. In short, it's Among Us all spit!

On Twitter, Gary Porter, programmer on Among Us, also noted another striking resemblance between the map introduced in Fortnite for this mode and the map of Among Us called The Skeld. As a user demonstrates, the two maps share a very similar structure despite slight differences in the positioning of certain rooms. A remark that led to accusations of plagiarism.

While it's still too early to confirm these claims, Among Us Community Manager Victoria Tran reacted by stating that "It would have been really, really nice to collaborate (with Fortnite) haha โ€‹โ€‹[โ€ฆ]", while expressing his disappointment at so many similarities. However, she doesn't mind her game concept being used by competitors.
