After very long months of waiting, the PlayStation exclusive of Final Fantasy VII Remake ended, to make way for a new one: that of theEpic Games Store.

The PC port of FF7 Remake is already planned on other platforms, in particular the leader in the field: Steam.

Final Fantasy VII Remake soon on Steam?

A year and eight months after its release on PS4, Final Fantasy VII Remake is finally available on PC, and only on the Epic Games Store. An announcement that surprised no one as the leaks around this port have been persistent. However, this third launch is not the one expected. Between an exorbitant price and numerous technical problems, the PC port of Cloud adventures is experiencing an avalanche of criticism. Never mind, Square Enix would already have other plans for him.

Several dataminers have gone through the game files to find certain references to the EGS competitor: Steam, in particular to Steamworks and the SteamDevAppID. More concretely, the title would already be in the database of the store patiently waiting for the end of the Epic Games Store exclusivity of FF7 Remake on PC, which should be 6 to 12 months. Enough to give the game time to refine itself according to the updates and to make people forget this chaotic launch.
