To mark the arrival of its new cross-over DLC, Ubisoft is announcing a free weekend for Far Cry 6.

From March 24 to 27, interested guerrillas can try out Ubisoft's latest FPS for free on PC (via Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna, including including the intriguing Stranger Things crossover DLC titled The Vanishing.

Strange Phenomena in Yara

Yara could experience a large influx of people this weekend, as Ubisoft will make all of Far Cry 6 free until March 27, including crossover DLC with the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. Interested PC and PlayStation players can already preload the game. Unfortunately, the Xbox team is not so lucky.

If the newcomers ever enjoyed their stay at Yara, it will be possible to extend the adventure and maintain its progress by acquiring the game. As such, Ubisoft offers several offers depending on the platform, with in particular a 50% promotion on the Standard, Gold, Deluxe and Ultimate editions of Far Cry 6. For all the details according to the different platforms, go to the dedicated blog post via the official Ubisoft website, quoted in source below.

Going back to the Stranger Things crossover DLC, this one will offer an experience paying homage to the Netflix series with a similar approach to survival-horror games. Dani will have to survive in a region of Yara corrupted by the Upside Down, and learn what happened to the inhabitants and the adorable dog Chorizo, mysteriously missing.
