eFootball 2022: the first update promised by Konami will arrive later than expected

Launched a day before FIFA 22 coins, his eternal rival whom he thought was going to beat the post, eFootball (Formerly Pro Evolution Soccer) started its 2021-2022 season in the worst possible way. Riddled with bugs, the free-to-play game caused an outcry from which the publisher is struggling to recover as its football production is mocked from all sides.

In response, the Japanese publisher quickly unsheathed a message of apology in good and due form, and seemed to make amends by announcing the arrival of an update allowing the ship to be refloated. Except that…

An unframed update

Upon publication of its public apology message, Konami announced that an update was in preparation for the month of October. However, if the publisher thought he had defused the bomb that was dragging his feet, it would seem that it is still close to the explosion following the new information on the update: it would seem that the initial delays are untenable, as the catastrophic state of the game suggested.

It was therefore via Twitter that the publisher announced the postponement of the update, i.e. version 0.9.1 of the game, to a later date, and this without further details except for a release window set at "early November ". This delay, longer than expected, should put a coin back in the machine and revive the discontent of the players.

The unpopularity of the game is therefore likely to continue for a while. Faced with this new setback, Konami can only offer new apologies, while ensuring that the teams are hard at work to bring a marked improvement to the gaming experience. The deployment of the update and the details of the Fixes will be made official as soon as the game teams are able to confirm them.
