When everyone thought they could play Dying Light 2 as of next month, Techland has finally announced the postponement of the version Switch. It must be said that the latter will be quite different from the others…
Expected on February 4, 2022 on consoles and PC, Dying Light 2 will have taken its time before reaching us. Made official at E3 2018, the title developed by Techland is eagerly awaited by all fans of the first opus. Alas, despite its Gold pass last November, the game will be late on Nintendo's hybrid console.
Big report in perspective
First of all, you should know that Dying Light 2 should only be available in Cloud version on Switch. The console is probably not powerful enough to run the game... It is therefore this version that has been postponed, since Techland now plans to launch it within 6 months of the release on other media. So the second episode of the saga will arrive no later than August 4, 2022 on Nintendo Switch.
This decision was quite logically taken with the aim of improving the general quality of the title on this console. Recall that Dying Light 2 will be widely supported after its release, as Techland plans at least 5 years of post-launch content.
