Techland is no longer one step away when it comes to Dying Light 2. Expected for the month of December, this sequel will finally make us hang around longer, since its release date has just slipped to next year.

It's a real traffic jam that promises to be the first quarter of 2022. After Elden Ring, Saints Row, Horizon Forbidden West, Pokémon Legends: Arceus or Gran Turismo 7, it's Dying Light 2's turn to invite itself during this extremely busy period of the video game calendar. Indeed, Techland has just formalized yet another postponement for its zombie game.

Thus, Dying Light 2 will no longer be released in December, but on February 4, 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. In a statement posted on Twitter, the Polish studio explains that its game is well finished, but the teams also need additional time to fix bugs and improve the general optimization of the title.
