After many years of waiting, Dying Light 2 is finally available on consoles and PC. And despite numerous postponements, the players have responded since Techland's game is breaking attendance records on Steam.

Just three short days after its release, Dying Light 2 has already carved its way into the top 25 most played games of all time on Steam by concurrent gamers. Indeed, with its 23rd place, the title peaked at 274 players on February 983. The first opus could not do better than 3 users at the same time. A great feat that allows the game to climb to eighth place in the best Steam sales of the moment.
To put it simply, Dying Light 2 does better than Halo Infinite in terms of the number of simultaneous players. It is also right behind Skyrim. At this time, we don't know the sales or even the number of players on the console versions.
