Now expected February 4, 2022, Dying Light 2 makes known in detail its system requirements for the PC version.

News arriving a few weeks after Techland announced that it had obtained Gold status for its next Action-RPG FPS, a sign that the final optimization phases are on the right track.

Dying RTX Light

The PC requirements have been shared on Steam and are divided into two parts: one with ray tracing disabled, and the other with.

Minimum configuration (30 fps at 1p - low graphics quality) without ray tracing

  • Processor: Inteo Core i3-9100 or AMD Radeon Ryzen 3 2300X;
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB;
  • RAM: 8GB RAM;
  • Disk space required: 60 GB;
  • Operating system: Windows 7.

Recommended configuration (60 fps at 1p - high graphics quality) without ray tracing

Stay RTX

  • RAM: 16GB RAM;
  • Disk space required: 60 GB (SSD required);
  • Operating system: Windows 10.

Recommended requirements (60 fps at 1p - high graphics quality) ray tracing enabled

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3700X
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB;
  • RAM: 16GB RAM;
  • Disk space required: 60 GB (SSD required);
  • Operating system: Windows 10.

Requirements rather greedy in sum, in particular to enjoy the game in all fluidity, graphic quality and ray tracing thoroughly. Note that this is only for a game rendered in 1p. It will inevitably be necessary to equip yourself with an even more solid machine to tack without jerks in the City in 080p or in 1K.

In addition to the PC, Dying Light 2 is of course expected on February 4 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch (Cloud), where it will not be necessary to bother too much to know if the machine is sufficiently powerful to spin it. We bet, however, that the old generation consoles may have some difficulties, given what is required on the PC version.
