Launched almost a year ago to the day on PC, Crusader kings iii could soon be available in a version adapted to home consoles… This would be a great first for the Paradox Interactive saga.

In September 2020, Crusader Kings III exploded the notoriety of the franchise by winning rave reviews from the specialized press. Indeed, the strategy game obtained a Metacritic average of 91% and a 9/10 in the columns of Clubic. With its even more immersive roleplaying side, content to not know what to do with it and many improvements to its interface, the title of Paradox has completely conquered the players.

An announcement during Gamescom?

Thus, the Swedish publisher could well capitalize on this great success by releasing Crusader Kings III on several consoles. This is what the Taiwanese classification organization (spotted by Gematsu) seemed to indicate before deleting the pages in question. These stipulated a port of the game on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.

Of course, only Paradox can confirm or deny this information. But with Gamescom approaching, such an announcement wouldn't be so unlikely. And since Crusader Kings III was at its release included in the Game Pass on PC, a confirmation of the console version could take place during the Xbox conference on August 24. To be continued…
