Waiting for his arrival PS5 et Xbox Series X| S, Crusader kings iii was to gratify us with its first extension at the end of the year. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little longer...

We're not going to rewrite history, but Crusader Kings III was a successful release last year on PC. So much so that Paradox has chosen to bring this opus to new generation consoles. These versions will not land until 2022, but the PC edition will soon welcome new content. Starting with a first major extension which was to be deployed before the end of December.

A royal patience

On the forums devoted to the game, the developers have announced that the extension titled The Royal Court has fallen behind. Thus, the release period is now set for next year, without further details. The development team said they were "dissatisfied" with the result obtained on the new gameplay mechanics that will be introduced via this DLC.

Indeed, The Royal Court will add, for example, the cultural evolution and languages in the game, but also the management of courtiers. New challenges will also await players. In short, the extension is extremely ambitious and quite logically requires the most demanding work from the developers.
