Fans Call of Duty clearly won't be bored over the next few months. Indeed, Activision has launched the development of several projects for its license of FPS including a new one Warzone which will be revealed very soon.
In addition to the annual episode which will be a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched in 2019, the famous saga will reward us with a few other games in the months to come. We already know that a mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone is in the works, in addition to a second installment on consoles and PC. It is the latter that interests us today.
The war will not stop!
In a recent release, Activision confirmed that the new Call of Duty: Warzone will be unveiled later this year. The publisher promises “revolutionary innovations” in the game, which he describes as a completely new and free “experience”. So while the one we call Warzone 2 was indeed built from the ground up, it obviously isn't considered an update or a true sequel.
In addition, no release date has yet been given and we also do not know if the progress of the players of the "first" Call of Duty: Warzone can be kept with this new game. Activision should clarify very soon these gray areas.
