Along with the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard, the Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer teams are working hand in hand to ensure proper monitoring of Call of Duty: War zone. Recently, last Thursday more precisely, a patch was deployed to make some adjustments to Activision's battle royale.

Unfortunately, players who are patiently waiting for the arrival of the Iron Trial mode in custom games or who are asking for the return of the iconic sniper Intervention, have been treated, for some, to another gift that leaves them with a very bitter taste.

Frags… No, serial lags!

Shortly after the latest Call of Duty: Warzone patch rolled out, players rushed to Reddit to report a very annoying issue they started seeing when navigating through in-game menus.

For good reason, a large drop in the frame rate per second affects the menus of Activision's battle royale. Among those affected by this issue, some are quick to say that they are now unable to play Call of Duty: Warzone due to this issue.

Thus, one of the players advances a detail about his performance since these, even at high frequency, show a significant decline in the number of frames per second which painfully reaches 13 FPS. Alas, this problem has already been going on for a few days now, without improvements.

A latency period on the side of Raven Software

At this time, even though the issue with the patch seems to affect only a minority of players, it still hasn't been resolved and the reaction of Raven Software, which handles Call of Duty: Warzone tracking, is always waiting.

But even more, the cause of its untimely lags in the game menus has still not been detected. So much so that affected players have no way around the problem, or even fix it on their own.

For four days, therefore, Call of Duty: Warzone has remained unplayable for some battle royale fans, while the announcement of an upcoming patch also seems to be suffering from the same lags as the game. Because even if players bring up the issue, as demonstrated in the video above, Raven Software has neither officially acknowledged the issue nor begun to investigate.
