After delaying its launch for a week, the next map of Call of Duty: War zone revealed itself a little more in depth. A previous tweet from the publisher Activision, in the form of a guided video tour, had already shown us its area and its different areas.

Pacific Horizon Airlines takes you on an aerial trip over the steep and lush environments of Caldera, the new map that will punctuate future games of Warzone and the launch of season 1 of Call of Duty: Vanguard.

A not-so-peaceful battlefield

As peaceful as the new map may seem, it will nonetheless be the scene of an explosive battle royale mode. However, while waiting for the commotion caused by the army of players who will set foot on these lands, Activision has unveiled the organization of the unpublished map of Caldera and a video offering a first glimpse of the places.

The Caldera map therefore brings a breath of fresh air to Activision's battle royale and succeeds the Verdansk map, which players now know by heart. This new map is also full of points of interest, fifteen precisely, which are spread over the whole of this new territory. Many of them are nods to old or new Call of Duty maps.

This hidden paradise within the Pacific has varied biomes that will allow players to explore many approaches and strategies. Between ridges, peaks, fields, caves and many other trails, there is plenty to do, and the video shown proves it.

Shipment for Caldera will begin on December 9, or a day earlier if you own Call of Duty: Vanguard. However, the airline declines all responsibility in this trip where the magnificent landscapes will be set on fire and bloodshed by players ready to do battle!
