After the resounding success of the very popular Call of Duty: Mobile, Activision could have more ideas. Indeed, the American publisher seems to be working on a launch of Warzone on our smartphones et tablets tactile.
In October 2019, the mobile version of the essential FPS Call of Duty landed on portable media. The game then quickly forged a community of several million players around the world. It is therefore not for nothing that Activision has invested heavily in the development of mobile titles, in particular by building a brand new studio.
An air of deja vu?
This week, the usually very knowledgeable insider Tom Henderson tells us that a Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is in production. The game had already been spotted via job postings and the name clearly appears in PlaytestCloud's database. This is a service dedicated to developers to carry out tests of games created on mobile media.
Also according to Henderson, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile should be released as soon as 2022. We can imagine that iOS and Android devices will benefit from it. Now we just have to wait for the official announcement.
