The rumor had been circulating for several weeks and Activision chose to confirm it on the sly. Indeed, the American publisher is currently recruiting in order to develop Call of Duty: War zone on mobile devices.

Last month, Activision detailed its schedule for the Call of Duty license. In addition to formalizing the sequel to Modern Warfare (2019) which will be released this year, the firm also announced several changes to Warzone. The battle royale will notably benefit from a new mode, as well as a sequel which should be presented very soon. But that's not all…

Another Call of Duty in your pocket

On the site dedicated to its FPS saga, Activision has posted various job offers for Call of Duty: Warzone on mobiles. The game is billed as "a AAA mobile experience that will bring thrilling, fluid, and large-scale action to gamers on the go." Producers, programmers, artists and other managers are currently being sought to work on this ambitious project.

At the moment we do not know the release date of this Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile. We will therefore have to be patient while waiting for a speech in good and due form from Activision.
